Growing up as a boy in France with the name Jocelyn, Joce (pronounced “Joss”) learned to be fierce and quick witted, which works well for him in the financial industry. He earned his MBA at the School of Business at Université Jean Moulin Lyon III, focusing on the management of small to midsize companies. After graduation, he promoted French rock bands you’ve never heard of and then, having fallen in love with Portland while finishing his degree at Portland State University, he moved to the United States permanently in 2001.
Joce joined the financial services industry in 2002. For the next nine years, he led a successful practice that focused on retirement plans while developing his own series of proprietary 401(k) analytical tools.
One of his proudest moments occurred in 2011, when he became a US Citizen. That same year he established JPS Newton. JPS Newton takes a proactive approach to retirement, serving many clients across several states and managing their investments with the highest degree of professionalism.
Joce’s plans for retirement:
“There’s going to be a lot of baking and cooking for friends….”
